Library Section


Reference Section: General reference collections include encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, gazetteers,

biographical directories, almanacs and yearbooks.




Serial Section: This section holds current and back issues of local and foreign journals, magazines

and other periodical materials like national newspapers such as The Manila Bulletin,

 The Philippine Star, Balita, Tempo, People’s Journal, and People’s Tonight.




General Circulation Section: This section consists of foreign authorship with 5 to 10 copies of title



Filipiniana Section: This is a collection of publications about the Philippines regardless of author and imprint works,

written by Filipinos and materials written in the Filipino language in the form of books, periodicals, pamphlets and clippings.

It also includes publications about the College and the materials it has published.



Fiction Collection: This collection is composed of fiction books such as mysteries,

fantasies, science fiction and historical fiction.



 Reserve Section: The College Library maintains reserve collections of subject materials to support the

academic programs of the College. Books are placed in reserve collections and circulate for shortened loan periods.



Thesis and Dissertation Section: The College Library holds a vast collection of undergraduate theses,

master’s theses and dissertations. This section is intended for use of undergraduate and graduate students.



Internet Room/ Audiovisual Room: Reference books in digital format or electronic resources are located in Internet/ Audiovisual Room.

Materials found in this section are VHS tapes, interactive instructional CD-ROMs, VCDs, DVDs, and audiocassette tapes.

There are three computer units intended for library users that can be used for researching from the internet and browsing CD-ROMs.
